Electronics Assembly Technician

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to support our Integrated Communications Systems Group (ICSG) based in Falls Church, VA . This position is a full-time , onsite role. This position is critical in supporting the engineering, fabrication, and assembly functions that enable ICSG to deliver world-class digital communications systems for DoD, civilian agencies, and private sector clients. As an Electronics Assembly Technician , you will play a pivotal role in the hands-on assembly, fabrication, and installation of components and systems essential to mission-ready communications solutions. *This is a temporary position expected to last between 6 - 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly interface with and proactively support Engineers, Project Managers, and the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure accurate and timely assembly work.
• Perform electronic and mechanical assembly tasks with precision and adherence to specifications.
• Install components, units, and printed circuit boards according to detailed work instructions, drawings, and datasheets.
• Use electronic, hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively.
• Fabricate parts, cables, and test fixtures to support engineering and production operations.
• Maintain organization and prioritization across multiple concurrent projects.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth production workflows and quality standards.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or educational equivalent demonstrating required competencies
• 2+ years of electronics assembly experience
• Solid computer and typing skills; proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using hand tools and small power tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions

Compensation to include:

• Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 **depending on experience**
