Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and APIs using Python and Java.
- Build and support cloud-native systems within AWS environments.
- Implement DevOps and GitOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code, and configuration management.
- Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and cybersecurity teams to ensure scalable and secure system deployment.
- Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Apply security best practices, including vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, and compliance monitoring.
- Contribute to Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous delivery.
- Utilize AI tools and prompt engineering techniques to improve engineering productivity and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
- Ability to Obtain a Top Secret Clearance
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Python and Java software development
- API design, development, testing, and management
- DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, GitOps, infrastructure as code)
- Cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure a plus)
- Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
- Security best practices including vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, and incident response
- Scaled Agile / Agile development environments
