Are You a Network Engineer with Expertise in Cryptographic Systems and Secure Network Infrastructure?
QSSHire is seeking a Network Engineer to support the implementation, configuration, and sustainment of advanced cryptographic technologies within secure network environments. The selected candidate will provide deep technical expertise in General Dynamics cryptographic devices, supporting the deployment, operation, and maintenance of secure communications infrastructure.
This role requires strong knowledge of cryptographic protocols, key management, and secure network operations, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and collaborate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders across the organization. The engineer will also support system integration, operational training, and continuous improvement of cryptographic systems within both legacy and modern network architectures.

In This Role, You’ll:
• Configure, operate, and maintain General Dynamics cryptographic devices, including E-100, FLEX, Micro, Nano, TL-10G, TL-1G, and next-generation crypto platforms.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex cryptographic systems supporting secure communications.
• Apply technical knowledge of cryptographic principles, protocols, and technologies to support secure network environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to General Dynamics crypto devices.
• Implement and maintain cryptographic protocols and standards, including encryption, decryption, and key management.
• Provide technical guidance and operational support to engineers, technicians, and program stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain training documentation and operational guidance for cryptographic systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support project objectives and secure system deployments.
• Utilize GEM Crypto Manager software to manage and support cryptographic devices.
• Train operational personnel and stakeholders on proper configuration and operation of cryptographic technologies.

You’ll Succeed Here If You Have:
• Demonstrated experience working with General Dynamics cryptographic devices.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic technologies, encryption standards, and key management systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex cryptographic device and network security issues.
• Experience supporting secure enterprise or sponsor network environments, including both modern and legacy systems.
• Experience working in Agile or collaborative engineering environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
