The Screen-out Element for this position is:
1) Knowledge, understanding, experience, and ability to assess and troubleshoot boiler systems that produce steam.
2) can independently start, operate, adjust, stop, maintain, and repair multiple-fuel (oil and natural gas) power boilers and associated auxiliary equipment.
3) monitors, adjusts, and controls all phases of boiler plant operations
4) Determines treatment and chemicals needed to control chemical concentrations and maintain stable water conditions in the boiler.

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
