Job Description

As a Security Officer - Driver, Unarmed Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a cutting-edge aero and defense location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, conduct access and perimeter checks, and document security-related activity with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies, including visitor check-in, credential verification, and directing individuals to authorized areas.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, alarms, and cameras as assigned, report irregular conditions, and coordinate with site contacts and/or emergency responders per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical calls, and other emergency response activities as directed.
• Complete detailed shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and access control records, and communicate important information during post transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
