Apex Systems is currently hiring for a DoD/SATCOM Program Manager with one of our top technology and engineering focused clients.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense SECRET security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment
Project Details / Mission Supported:
This project is seeking a Program Manager to lead the development and verification of complex multi-faceted satellite ground resource management, communication, and control projects and programs.
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
• Program/project management for Satellite Ground Systems
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or other technical discipline
• Minimum of 10 or more years of project or program management experience executing technical development programs leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams, conducting multiple development efforts simultaneously
• Demonstrated proficiency with managing programmatic attributes such as EVMS, IMS, Risk and Risk reduction efforts, and customer and subcontractor relations and negotiations
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Travel Requirement: up to 25% (Domestic & International)
Onsite expectation: Starts onsite and then moves to hybrid schedule
Clearance Level: Secret Clearance level
Salary/Pay range: $185-250K, DOE
Preferred Skills and Experience
• Experience working on US Government Projects, specifically with the US Space Force ground systems
• Experience working with software-based radios/modems running in VNFs
• Experience working with RF communication equipment
• Experience working in Satellite communications
• Experience working projects utilizing cloud and on-premise implementations
• Experience with Atlassian tools
• RF / Optical Antenna site construction and installations
