MTSI is seeking to hire an Operations Analyst to serve a vital role within the Program Manager Office (PMO) under the Product Manager Office (PdMO). This role requires versatile technical and analytical expertise in evaluating initiatives and leading a wide variety of projects, studies, and tasks across the PMO domain.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform technical and analytical evaluations of various projects and initiatives across the PMO.
• Act as a key member or leader of Integrated Process Teams (IPTs), working closely with functional disciplines (e.g., engineering, logistics, business management, and test teams).
• Participate in planning, analysis, and implementation of PMO/PEO operations, including support for key program reviews and milestones.
• Develop innovative procedures to improve workflows, enhance information sharing, and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Serve as the Public Affairs representative for the PMO, managing public releases and media clearance requests.
• Identify project requirements, establish milestone schedules, and coordinate the execution of activities.
• Provide advice and assistance on property-related matters during acquisition planning, contract formation, and management.
• Coordinate temporary relocation of personnel and equipment for renovations, furniture installations, and other Quality of Life initiatives.
• Conduct meetings with engineers and contractors as needed and prepare detailed reports on project efficiency and outcomes.
• Develop, monitor, and refine operational documents, including Operations Orders (OPORDs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and procedures to sustain current operations.
• Serve as the functional expert for the CPE/PM Tasker System, ensuring task assignments meet timelines and are properly entered into the PEO Tasker System.
• Manage off-site visits, Changes of Charter ceremonies, conferences, and other events, with a focus on logistics and operational planning.
Required Qualifications
• US citizenship and an active secret level security clearance is required
• 10+ years of acquisition experience with a master's degree, or 12+ years of acquisition logistics experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the mission, functions, and organizational structure of CPE/PM, as well as matrixed relationships with other organizations.
• Proficiency in administrative concepts, practices, and office procedure development.
• Familiarity with the substantive programs of the organization, with the ability to recommend administrative policy changes.
• Strong correspondence preparation skills.
• Proficiency in planning, conducting, and documenting studies, analyses, and reports with actionable findings and recommendations.
• Ability to coordinate and integrate the contributions of team members into cohesive products.
• Effectively represent the organization in committees, meetings, and process action teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging one-on-one with managers, peers, and subordinates.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, ensuring deadlines are met during planning and execution of events (e.g., Town Halls, Senior Leader Off-sites, and conferences).
