Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Rover - Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-profile aerospace and defense location where you will perform armed patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, document activity, respond to situations as needed, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and public responders as directed.
• Complete timely reports and documentation for patrol activities, access control actions, incidents, and equipment checks, including communication via radio and/or phone.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
