Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Palmdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents while providing strong customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post, supporting security-related operations with an active, people-first approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and other security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Carry an authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, applicable laws, and use of force guidelines, completing required training and qualifications.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points, observing for unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed reports on shift activities, patrol observations, access activity, and incident response actions, using approved reporting systems and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Have an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
