At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As an Intel Ops Support, a typical day will include the following duties:

Description

GCI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Intelligence Operations Support to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible the below:
  1. The resource shall assist officers with operational coordination and planning, community outreach, monitoring incoming communication in customer system.
  2. The resource shall draft and coordinate operations, data, and findings in customer systems.
  3. The resource shall assist in the preparation of responses to senior level tasking/requirements.
  4. The resource shall maintain official customer files and documents, prepare for and present technical proposals, and prepare metrics, conduct research as necessary.
  5. The resource shall handle the full operational, technical, and data management of cyber programs. Working closely with operators, targeters, and desk officers throughout the customer organization, and other components externally. The resource shall draft and coordinate a variety of documentation consisting predominantly planning, execution and impact.
  6. The resource shall assist officers with research and analytic targeting to turn research derived data into products and assist officers with coordination of data with other partners.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience in producing thorough, concise, and accurate operational documentation and written products. They should be able to effectively articulate assessments and plans for projects and deliver clear, relevant briefings to various organizational levels regarding cyber projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technical, operational, and equities across multiple stakeholders including both technical and non-technical staff throughout the planning, execution, and completion of cyber or technical projects.
  • Demonstrated experience providing expertise guidance, and recommendations to advance cyber and technical projects, applying basic program management principles to advance cyber projects.
  • Demonstrated experience critically analyzing threats to projects and conducting effective risk management, identifying and mitigating technological risks to projects through sound guidance and proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience using various systems to manage records, draft official correspondence, and coordinate complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience proactively collaborating with colleagues, management, and partners across various organizational levels. This includes effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and maintain clear communication with the team. The candidate should be adept at initiation and following up on conversation with relevant stakeholders to prevent communication gaps.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting basic traces and research and using basic tools to obtain findings.

Desired Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated experience operating in a specialized capacity, focusing on complex or challenging targets and working on projects that involve technical, cyber, or HUMINT aspects.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the China mission.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of cyber exploitation and cyber defense concepts, including cellular and computer networks.

Education Requirement
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

Experience Requirement
  • 5-7 years of experience
