You will be the face of the company for employees on back-office matters, providing day-to-day support and ensuring smooth employee experiences across onboarding, payroll, timekeeping, leaves, and celebrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Support & Guidance
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, escalating to our PEO for HR-related matters when needed.
- Provide direction and guidance to employees and connect them with other departments when necessary.
- Foster a supportive and positive employee experience through proactive check-ins, recognition, and celebrations.
- Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, scheduling, and welcome communications.
- Ensure smooth transitions for employee terminations and leaves of absence, following established processes.
- Timekeeping, Payroll & Leave Management
- Oversee employee timesheet submissions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and approve leave requests in accordance with company policy.
- Reconcile timesheets with the payroll department to ensure hours are accurately recorded and paid.
- Assist with payroll processing and reporting as needed.
- HR & People Operations
- Support tracking of employee leaves of absence in coordination with the PEO.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in HR systems.
- Partner with internal teams to improve efficiency of HR and operational workflows.
- Administrative & Corporate Support
- Provide general administrative assistance to corporate teams and executives, including scheduling, document preparation, and record-keeping.
- Help organize meetings, prepare communications, and assist with day-to-day back-office operations.
- Support cross-functional teams as necessary to ensure efficient internal operations.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in HR coordination, administrative support, or a related field
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with HR processes such as payroll, onboarding, timekeeping, or employee relations.
- Interest in building a career in Human Resources or People Operations.
