Role Summary

ODME Solutions is seeking an experienced CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to support DevSecOps and software delivery efforts on the CB-ISEA program at NIWC Pacific.

This role is responsible for building and maintaining automated software delivery pipelines supporting both containerized applications and traditional VM-based deployments within secure DoD environments.

The engineer will work closely with software developers, platform engineers, and integration teams to create reliable, repeatable build and deployment workflows supporting mission systems deployed across multiple operational environments.

The position requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift , strong understanding of containerized application delivery, and experience operating within security-focused development environments.

What You Will Work On

• Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines supporting multiple Software Baselines
• Building automated build, test, and deployment workflows for containerized applications
• Supporting application delivery into Kubernetes and OpenShift environments
• Integrating security and compliance checks into build pipelines
• Supporting pipelines for both container deployments and VM-based software builds
• Managing artifacts, container images, and release versioning
• Troubleshooting pipeline failures and deployment issues across development and integration environments
• Working with development teams to improve build automation and deployment reliability
• Supporting DevSecOps practices including automated testing, vulnerability scanning, and repeatable deployments

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Operating system certification (Linux, Windows, or similar) or ability to obtain shortly after hire
• Ability to work on-site in San Diego supporting NIWC Pacific

Strongly Preferred Experience

• Experience designing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
  • GitLab
  • Jenkins
  • Tekton
  • GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes or OpenShift platforms
• Experience building and deploying containerized applications
• Familiarity with container tooling
  • Docker
  • Podman
  • Kubernetes CLI tools
• Experience integrating security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in DoD development environments
• Experience supporting software delivery in restricted or air-gapped networks
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
  • Terraform
  • Ansible
