Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Provides hardware and software support to systems *
- Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs moderately complex problems *
- Installs, maintains, and repairs computer and/or security systems, including upgrades *
- Builds and tests new systems for the team
- Prepares and generates written and/or oral reports or procedures on a regular basis
- May assist in engineering testing *
- May give recommendations for solutions to problems
- May assist in research work - researching new/replacement hardware/software

Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of related work experience
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance; US citizenship required
- Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
- Ability to demonstrate logical thinking
- Willingness and ability to learn new things
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of electronics training from technical trade school or military technical school or two years of computer training as applicable to the job, or one to three years of related work experience
- Working knowledge of PC hardware and software, as well as operating system experience (Windows 11)
- Experience building and testing new computer systems
- Experience with installing and configuring Windows 11 operating system
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software problems
