Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an AV Design Engineer for a Department of Defense program located in Stuttgart, Germany. This is a permanent position supporting long-term work in support of the US Military.
This position requires an active Secret clearance, with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
Responsibilities of the AV Design Engineer:
· Design and test complex AV and videoconference systems
· Create drawing packages, bill of materials
· Design A/V systems using Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, etc.
· Conduct site surveys to collect operational, functional, technical requirements
· Develop project scopes, plans, proposals, budget/cost estimates
· Develop and conduct user training and administrative training
Requirements for the AV Design Engineer:
· Active Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
· Bachelor's degree in IT related field
· 5+ years of experience in AV design
· Strong skills in AutoCAD
· Experience with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, etc.
· Experience reading, interpreting, and developing blueprints
· Ability to travel throughout Europe up to 20% as needed
Compensation for the AV Design Engineer:
· Annual salary: $120,000-$130,000 (depending on experience) + OCONUS differential
· Relocation assistance to Stuttgart including flights, temporary housing, rental car, per diem, etc.
