Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Hyperion / Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Administrator to independently manage and support our Oracle EPM environment. This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Hyperion platform to ensure system reliability, security, and performance supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
The ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient professional capable of managing the full lifecycle of the Hyperion environment with minimal supervision. This individual will work closely with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the stability and effectiveness of enterprise financial planning and reporting systems.

Job Description:

This individual will work closely with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the stability and effectiveness of enterprise financial planning and reporting systems.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience administering Oracle Hyperion or Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) environments.
- Strong experience administering Hyperion Planning and Essbase.
- Experience managing EPM system security, user roles, and system configuration.
- Experience troubleshooting system issues and performing application performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience supporting system upgrades, patches, migrations, and environment maintenance.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage system operations with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud or hybrid environments
- Experience with FDMEE or other financial data integration tools
- Knowledge of Calc Scripts, Groovy scripting, or Essbase optimization
- Familiarity with IT change management and production support processes
Responsibilities:
- Independently administer and maintain the Oracle Hyperion / Oracle EPM environment to ensure operational stability and performance.
- Manage system configuration, security administration, and user provisioning across the EPM platform.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot system issues, and implement performance tuning strategies.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting operations by ensuring platform availability and reliability.
- Maintain and administer key EPM components including Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Financial Reporting modules.
- Perform application migrations, patching, upgrades, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Manage data integrations and workflows across EPM systems to ensure accurate financial data processing.
- Support system backups, disaster recovery procedures, and operational documentation.
- Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to support reporting and planning needs.
- Provide production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis for system issues.
- Maintain system documentation and best practices to ensure long-term operational stability.
