The Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) is advancing its enterprise geospatial infrastructure to support intelligence operations across highly secure military and Intelligence Community networks. As mission demands expand, so does the need for resilient, high-performance geospatial platforms capable of delivering reliable, secure data to analysts and decision-makers operating in complex global environments.
We are seeking a Principal Enterprise GIS Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority responsible for architecting, securing, and optimizing ESRI enterprise geodatabases deployed on Oracle within classified environments. In this role, you will lead the modernization and security hardening of mission-critical geospatial infrastructure that supports Marine Corps intelligence operations worldwide. Your work will directly shape how enterprise geospatial data systems are designed, protected, and delivered across MCIA's mission environment.
This position offers the opportunity to engineer and sustain large-scale ArcGIS Enterprise ecosystems where performance, security, and data integrity are operational priorities. You will work at the intersection of enterprise GIS architecture, database performance optimization, and security compliance, ensuring the reliability and scalability of geospatial systems that support national defense missions.
Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000

Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related field
- 12+ years of professional GIS experience
- ESRI Enterprise Geodatabase subject matter expertise
- Experience implementing ESRI enterprise geodatabases on Oracle
- Demonstrated experience with security hardening and vulnerability remediation
- CompTIA Security+ certification (prior to start date)
- Oracle certification (prior to start date)
- Solid scripting and programming experience (Python, SQL, .NET, etc.)
- Familiarity with DoD and IC geospatial standards
