The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a full time Sr. Systems Engineer. In this role, you will perform analysis, design, integration and test on mission critical software and hardware The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the Linux Operating System, troubleshooting product and system level issues.
Candidate will be considered a product owner or scrum master or a Baseline Delivery Lead.
This position is located at the facility that requires special access. Position requires a government security clearance. U.S. Citizenship required.

Basic Qualifications:
• BS Degree in Engineering or STEM field with
minimum of 5 years' professional experience OR
minimum of 10 years' Military related experience
in lieu of Degree
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience
• Experience with Program and/or Product leadership
• Experience with formal system test methods associated with software requirements verification, software system regression and performance analysis
• Ability to identify and isolate system defects during integration and test activities
• Experience with the use of test diagnostics tools, such as debuggers, message injectors, hardware and network analyzers and simulators
• Experience with System Requirement Decomposition and Design
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of Navy ship and crew environments, including structure, tasking, communications, and relations, and knowledge of Navy ship test approach, sequence, milestones, and process
• Knowledge of the Aegis Combat System
• Working knowledge of Unix and/or Linux
operating systems program development and test processes
• Demonstrated strong teamwork, communication (both verbal and written), and presentation skills
* Understanding of design, continuous integration and validation of software and hardware system level components
• Understanding of technical process for testing
complex software systems
• Experience in operations/performance analyses
of complex weapon systems
• Waterfront integration and test experience
• System-level integration and verification of
requirements
• Experience working closely with customer and/or customer representatives that include defining test plans, procedures resolving test documentation comments, defining test schedules and ensuring concurrence on verified requirements
• Thorough understanding of the computer program development and test processes
• Ability to define and document system structural and behavioral analysis models necessary for the definition of software requirements specifications and verification test threads (regression)
• Experience working on one or more of the following areas: concept development; system design; performance requirements definition, development, design, modeling, simulation, integration, test; integration and test of large
real-time systems; analysis

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
The base range for this position in New Jersey is $91,000 - $172,488.
