You will be the Low Observables RCS Engineer for the Signature Integration Team which is responsible for advancing low-observable technology across the aircraft survivability portfolio.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Low Observables RCS Engineer you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end maturation of low observable technologies from concept through prototype testing and customer engagement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform and communicate vehicle signature predictions using Unix-based codes and tools.

  • Conduct laboratory measurements of material coupons and analyze physical, electrical, and environmental properties.

  • Lead research, design, and testing of advanced electromagnetic metamaterials.

  • Develop, test, and maintain signature prediction tools using Python, C++, C#, Java, and Fortran.

  • Produce technical reports and briefings, and engage with customers and government forums.

Further Information About This Opportunity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to Obtain DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree or above in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering or Physics
- Radar cross section analysis & design
- Radar cross section testing/measurement
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree or above in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering or Physics
The following attributes are desired/preferred but not required for consideration:
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
- Recognized experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility
- Experience with 3D modeling and meshing: CATIA v5
-Experience with Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) codes and tools : Xpatch, SENTRi MM3D Phenix, Anysys HFSS
- Experience with LO integration / multi-discipline air vehicle systems design
- Cultivation, pursuit, capture, project or program management, and execution of signature technology IRAD & CRAD projects
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
