What You Will Be Doing
Visual Communications is seeking a proactive Project Manager to partner closely with creative teams and stakeholders to independently manage projects from intake through delivery. This role drives operational excellence through disciplined execution, fiscal accountability, and a strategy-first, value-always mindset that ensures creative work delivers measurable business impact.
The Project Manager Rep Sr serves as a primary liaison between internal customers and the Visual Communications team. This role independently manages projects from intake through closure, ensuring creative deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
This position requires a proactive, organized professional who can connect projects across the portfolio, identify workflow efficiencies, and uphold strong data accuracy and fiscal accountability standards. The Level 3 PM operates with moderate autonomy and partners closely with Creative Directors, discipline leads, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
Project Ownership & Execution
-Serve as single point of contact for assigned clients and creative teams
-Facilitate intake through Workamajig (WMJ), ensuring complete and accurate project setup
-Partner with discipline leadership to support resource allocation decisions
-Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
-Monitor progress and proactively intervene to resolve risks or bottlenecks
-Manage scope changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders
Operational & Financial Oversight
-Track budgets and ensure work remains aligned to approved scope
-Support accountability by ensuring contributors charge time appropriately
-Monitor KPIs such as speed-to-delivery and project cycle time
-Provide regular budget and status reports to clients
-Upload and track vendor quotes and invoices in the project management system
-Ensure timely and accurate project closure and documentation
Collaboration & Communication
-Schedule and facilitate meetings between clients and creative teams
-Attend creative meetings and capture notes, decisions, and action items
-Maintain alignment between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership
-Identify opportunities for improved workflow and operational consistency
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of project management experience
Experience working with creative or Visual Communications teams
Experience developing and managing project schedules and budgets
Experience using project management systems (Workamajig preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desired Skills:
Experience in defense or aerospace environments
Strong problem-solving and risk management skills
Ability to analyze project data and report on performance metrics
Experience managing vendor coordination and tracking invoices

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
