The successful candidate will:
• Lead a staff of Environment, Safety and Health
(ESH) professionals supporting all programs at
all LM Space Huntsville locations.
• Develop and execute strategic direction of
environmental, safety, industrial hygiene,
ordnance and ESH compliance for Space at the
sites.
• Establish continuous improvement plans and
work closely with site leaders and employees to
drive an injury free environment and an
instinctual safety culture where safety is owned
by everyone and integrated into all we do.

Basic Qualifications:
• Strong Environment, Safety and Health (ESH)
background in an industrial environment with
business acumen and operations knowledge
• Proven project execution and project management skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proven cost control and budgeting skills
• Broad ESH experience and general awareness
and experience working a variety of ESH issues
• Experience with ordnance and energetics
• Working knowledge and/or experience with
facilities designated as a RCRA Small Quantity
Generator of hazardous waste
• United States citizenship
- Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance

• Leadership experience (managing or
leading a professional staff/team for at least 1-2
years)
• Demonstrated full spectrum leadership skills
including experience engaging and motivating a
team
• Strong background in managing multiple
environmental, safety and health (ESH)
programs
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience with ESH programs in support of
industrial, manufacturing, or high technology
operations
• Professional certifications in the field of
Environmental, Safety and Health, such as:
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified
Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Professional
Engineer (PE)
• Experience managing ISO 14001, ISO 45001,
and/or OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM)
programs
• Experience in Lean/Six Sigma processes (Black
or Green Belt is preferred)
• Proven performance in a dynamic work
environment
• Customer service oriented

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
