Description:The F-35 Virtual Platforms Program Management Senior Manager is responsible for strategy and execution of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics F-35 simulation products and environments.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Manage cost, schedule and technical delivery of F-35 virtual platforms scope. This includes Embedded Training (ET), F-35 In A Box (FIAB), Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) and Mission Systems Training Center (MSTC).
• Develop and execute program plans, manage program performance, and ensure contractual commitments are met.
• Develop strategic plans that maximize virtual platforms utilization to enable rapid F-35 capability delivery and maximum efficiency of reuse in Training Systems Deliverables. This involves understanding the broader objectives of the F-35 program and collaborating with the F-35 JPO and Lockheed Martin team members to develop plans aligned with these F-35 enterprise objectives.
• Effectively collaborate with a OneLM mindset, ensuring that strategic plans and execution performance enable all facets of the broader F-35 air system across all affected business areas.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher with related experience
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills and experience leading distributed and virtual teams
• Program Management experience
• Experience working with matrix organizations in executing or proposing programs
• Experience identifying, influencing and building strong relationships with decision makers, and maintaining long-term customer intimacy
• Active Secret Clearance with a completed investigation within the last 5 years
Desired Skills:
• Experience influencing and driving results as a change agent
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including ability to address complex matter / solutions with senior leaders
• Proven track record of supporting large and complex programs
• Ability to manage, coach, train, and motivate team in technical and leadership development
• Knowledge of F-35 Program including knowledge of fifth generation fighter programs
- Knowledge of simulation systems and environments
• Experience with DevSecOps and Agile development
• Possess secret/SAR clearance with all necessary F-35 caveats
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
