Description:As a Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team in Courtland, AL, you will help lead the production of advanced missile defense technology. You will drive the improvement of manufacturing processes, support production operations, and contribute to a team that strengthens national security. This role blends technical expertise with managing a team of manufacturing engineers in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Basic Qualifications:
• Active Secret security clearance
• Experience with Final Assembly manufacturing environment
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing to implement process improvements and ensure a producible product
• Familiar with Creo, Windchill, SAP to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
• Familiar with initial setup of a production line
• Basic understanding of MBOM and Work Instruction creation/maintenance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) or missile defense programs
• Ability to tailor level of effort based on customer requirements and expectations
• Leadership experience in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
• Basic understanding of program management principles
• Ability to act as a liaison between subcontractors, internal teams and program counterparts
• Experience working in a classified area
