You will be the IPT Lead - PAC 3 Launcher Surveillance for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control. Our team designs, develops, and manufactures precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries, and you will drive the technical success of a critical launcher surveillance program.
What You Will Be Doing
As the IPT Lead, you will supervise the start up of the new surveillance effort, lead root cause investigations of hardware and software failures, and manage engineering changes through the Change Control Board. You will partner with Program Managers to balance cost, schedule, and performance across multiple concurrent task orders. Your responsibilities will include
• Acting as the central facilitator for the Integrated Product Team (IPT); convene stakeholders, identify problems, develop solutions, and present concise updates to the PM and U.S. Government (USG).
• Leading the monthly IPT call with the USG, delivering clear technical status, risk, and issue briefings.
• Serving as the technical resource for the PM: develop deep knowledge of the PAC 3 launcher and its subsystems to support sustainment decisions.
• Acting as an innovator: surface execution challenges, propose corrective actions, and guide discussion toward approved paths forward.
• Providing planning support: forecast execution activities, assess constraints, and help craft formal communications for the USG.
• Contributing to accurate, executable cost estimates for surveillance operations.
• Representing the team on the Configuration Control Board (CCB), Failure Review Board (FRB), Risk & Opportunity Board, and Corrective Action Board (CAB).
• Traveling 10 %-15 % of the time to sites, customers, and test events as needed.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
• Able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize, lead, and manage tasks to completion
• Strong organization and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task high priorities
• Exceptional teambuilding skills; Demonstrated coordination and collaboration experience
• Able to present a problem, propose a solution, and support a discussion with program leadership and key stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic team environment under general guidance
• Ability to professionally communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy
• Ability to proactively manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Formal presentation skills; ability to produce presentation materials appropriate to the audience
• Knowledge of process improvement methodology
Desired Skills:
• Project management skillsets, including but not limited to: leadership, effective communication, planning/organization, risk management, and financial acumen
• Experience with various contract types and requirements development
• Previous experience with USG agencies, specifically SHIELD and DCMA
• Experience applying Control Account Management (CAM) and EVMS methodologies
• Familiarity with OASAS, ERP tool SAP (PRD and MRO) or similar databases
• Proficient experience interpreting drawings and specifications
• Familiar with processing engineering change notices
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical investigations to determine root cause of hardware and software failures

• PATRIOT Air Defense System ground system experience is desirable
