MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires selected candidate must possess ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
The position will require onsite work >50% of the time and occasional travel is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with US Government contracts
- Experience with contract negotiations
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Knowledge and documented application of acquisition regulations (FAR & DFARS)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience negotiating and managing development OTAs and USG contracts
- Proven ability to develop trusted partnerships with internal and external customers
- Cost Type, Fixed Price, and Incentive Fee Contracting Type knowledge
- Negotiation experience and knowledge of Precision Fires Munitions portfolio
- Experience in strategy development for new captures
- Ability to engage in routine and unique problems / issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts
- Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, financing payments, etc.
- Experience working autonomously with general direction
- Experience handling multiple, widely-varied assignments
- Experience problem solving, including identifying issues and developing solutions
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
- Demonstrates emotional intelligence, positivity, and enthusiasm leading a team and working collaboratively with key stakeholders during a project

- Play a key role in shaping proposals by capturing follow-on and new business while developing future leaders.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external customers to influence favorable, win-win outcomes.
- Lead and train the Contracts team across the full cradle-to-grave contract lifecycle-from capture through award, execution, closeout, and audit.
- Provide business advice and coordinate with program, finance, legal, subcontracts, engineering, and other functions to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.
- Ensure contractual compliance with all laws, regulations, and Delegation of Authority requirements, and support internal and external audits.
