Salary Range: $60 to $70/hr on W2

Contract Duration : 12 + months

The *** Company is currently seeking an Experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support our Precision Engagement Systems located in Saint Charles, MO. The Precision Engagement Systems organization is a strong and growing business that produces a variety of precision-guided weapons, which are employed around the world to support the defense of the United States and more than 30 U.S. allied countries. Our leadership team is committed to attracting and developing top talent to support critical Direct Attack (DA) and Cruise Missile Systems (CMS) missions. Aligned with customer objectives, we deliver tailored software solutions through our exceptional workforce. In Saint Charles, MO, we support Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and derivatives) and Cruise Missiles (SLAM-ER, Harpoon legacy and development weapons) deployed on a range of military aircraft and select ground platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in real-time embedded software development
• Experience in developing software using Object Oriented principles
• Experience working in a team environment
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent experience strongly preferred
• Active U.S. secret clearance
• Experience with Ada, Python, or C#
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment
• Experience with Git or a similar version control system
• Experience developing and tracing software requirements

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions
• Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile development environment
• Develop solutions using Ada, C#, and Python
• Test your software and assist system level testing to verify correct software functionality
• Analyze problem reports and troubleshoot software defects
• Develop leadership skills and experience
