As an Access Control Officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor processing, and support badge and access procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, complete routine patrols of assigned areas, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with employees and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities as needed at an aerospace and defense location.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges as directed, processing visitors and contractors, and maintaining access logs in accordance with site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting suspicious activity, completing incident documentation, and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and to identify security-related or operational concerns for reporting.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and property movements as assigned, following established procedures for inspections, escorts, and documentation to support controlled access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
