Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Manufacturing, Safety & Quality --- Air Dominance Lean team is looking to add an experienced Lean Practitioner (Level 4). The successful candidate will be a Lean+ / Operational Excellence expert to support Boeing Production System implementation, and maturity, working collaboratively across the F-15 Production System to embed lean principles and tactics to achieve business objectives.

This teammate will be responsible for working in partnership with BDS Program and manufacturing teams, along with other stakeholders throughout the enterprise, to drive the integration of BPS / Operational Excellence best practices to enable world-class manufacturing system performance and efficiency. This includes training and implementation of 5S+ standard practices across the STL Site and Air Dominance Programs to achieve key milestones maturing sustained 5S+ practices to world class levels.

The successful candidate will be expected to apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach with internal and external partners and leverage his/her knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Six Sigma, safety, quality, productivity, and affordability to shape the planning, development, and execution of Lean+ manufacturing solutions to satisfy program needs.

Position Responsibilities:

o Instructs others in continuous improvement tools and principles.

o Develops and updates instructional materials.

o Mentors future instructors and less experienced practitioners.

o Works with internal or external customers.

o Leads and facilitates complex process improvement efforts.

o Identifies risks and opportunities for improvement.

o Creates enhancements to existing improvement tools.

o Supports the development and deployment of new tools.

o Supports business acquisition.

o Participates in the evaluation process.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

o Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field

o 3+ year of experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment

o 5+ years' of experience managing metrics to drive data driven solutions/decisions

o 3+ experience leading or managing process improvement projects

o Demonstrated experience planning and facilitating Lean+ workshops (e.g., AIW / 3P / Kaizen / Voice of Customer)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

o Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering

o Experience in Lean Manufacturing

o 5+ year of experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment

o 10+ years' of experience managing metrics to drive data driven solutions/decisions

o 5+ experience in leading or managing process improvement projects

Summary pay range: $116,450-$157,550 USD
