MTSI is seeking a Test Manager to support a high-profile Air Force Program in Huntsville, AL . The Test Manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, execute, assess, and document Developmental Testing (DT) and Operational Testing (OT) for tactical command and control (C2) systems. Travel of up to 20% may be required. The Test Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective test execution, analysis, and documentation for tactical systems, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and fostering trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Standing up an Integrated Test Team (ITT) Charter to develop and manage the T&E Strategy, Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), and other required documentation.
- Assisting in the development of a T&E Strategy that integrates policy, program requirements, cost/resource estimates, evaluation frameworks, and schedules to meet program objectives.
- Coordinating the planning, management, and oversight of DT/OT activities, including oversight of Contractor and Participating Test Organization (PTO) T&E efforts.
- Documenting test activities, including writing test reports, analyzing test data, and providing recommendations to the Lead Engineer and leadership.
- Supporting developmental hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing in digital environments, as well as live-fire testing (LFT) in operational environments.
- Establishing trusted and influential relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinating with both internal and external organizations to accomplish common goals.
- Communicating effectively through exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of engineering experience, with a focus on Developmental Test (DT) or Operational Test (OT).
- Knowledge of DoD T&E policies, practices, and procedures .
- Demonstrated experience with writing and translating test documents such as TEMP and DT/OT plans.
- Familiarity with ACAT I/II acquisition programs (highly desired).
- Knowledge of military communication systems , DoD standards, and regulations.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic, agile work environment, transitioning across multiple projects as needed.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to translate client technical needs into specifications accurately.
- Self-motivated, independent, and capable of driving projects to closure while assimilating complex information quickly.
Required Education
- B.S. degree in engineering or a technical discipline is required.
- A Master's degree in an engineering or technical discipline is highly desired.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with tactical communications equipment.
- Specialized knowledge in one or more of the following areas: tactical sensors, missile defense effectors, tactical data link networks, sensor/effector integration, aircraft systems.
- Knowledge of Government policies, directives, standards, handbooks , and DoD-adopted industry standards.
- Familiarity with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's framework, directives, and policies .
- Advanced degree, such as a Master's in engineering or technical discipline.
Required Clearance
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite for this position.
