Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking an innovative and technically strong Team Lead for Financial System Visualization Support to design, develop, and sustain enterprise data visualizations and interactive dashboards for a Financial Management Directorate within an Agency in the Intelligence Community.
This role turns complex financial data into actionable insights by delivering intuitive dashboards, automated reporting tools, and user focused visual analytics that support strategic decision making across the Agency.
This position is located in Springfield, VA.

Dashboard & Visualization Development
. Manage the full life cycle of data visualization and dashboard development, including requirements gathering, prototyping, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
. Design highly engaging dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, or comparable visualization platforms that enhance user experience, streamline workload, and deliver meaningful financial insights.
. Write and optimize SQL (or equivalent) queries, build calculated fields, parameters, and interactive filters to enable dynamic dashboard functionality.
Data Preparation & Quality Support
. Collaborate with data owners and data stewards to test, clean, and standardize data, ensuring that visual products meet business and technical requirements.
. Partner closely with Tools & Reporting teams to validate data pipelines and ensure consistent architecture across financial reporting and visualization efforts.
. Ensure data sources and extracts are properly scheduled and consistently refreshed.
Server Publishing, Access & Maintenance
. Publish dashboards to enterprise servers, manage data refresh schedules, configure extracts, and assign / control user access permissions.
. Oversee versioning, update cycles, documentation, and dashboard performance tuning.
Documentation & User Support
. Develop and maintain technical documentation for all dashboards, workflows, and visualization products.
. Support user acceptance testing, incorporate user feedback, and deliver training or reference materials to help users interpret visual products.
Strategic Visualization Leadership
. Ensure consistency in coding, style, and formatting across all dashboard products.
. Identify opportunities to improve automation, reporting efficiency, and modern data visualization practices.
. Engage Agency stakeholders to validate visualization requirements and ensure products align with mission and financial objectives.

. Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
. Ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
. Experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial operations
. Knowledge of cash management, financial risk, liquidity planning, and federal financial systems
. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
. Experience with enhanced data integration and analytics, specifically Palantir Foundry
. Experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Qlik Sense, Power BI, or similar tools
. Experience creating financial dashboards for federal or Intelligence Community environments
. Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling and data governance
. Experience with UI/UX principles for data visualization
. Familiarity with Agile development processes and visualization lifecycle management

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,800.00 - $245,500.00.
