Mid-Level Java Developer
Location: Colorado Springs, CO (on-site)
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Java Developer to support a federal client in developing modern web and backend applications for mission-critical credentialing and case management systems.
In this role, you will help design and implement enterprise software solutions that support secure federal operations. Working within a collaborative Agile development environment, you will contribute to building next-generation customer engagement platforms used by federal service agencies.

Responsibilities
As a Mid-Level Java Developer, you will:
- Design and develop enterprise web and backend applications using Java and Spring-based REST APIs
- Build and maintain modern user interfaces using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
- Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions
- Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Utilize modern development tools such as Git, Eclipse, and JUnit to support application development and testing
- Support the design, integration, and deployment of applications within large-scale federal IT systems
- Maintain documentation for software components, architecture, and development processes
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- On-site support Tuesday through Thursday in Colorado Springs, CO (required)
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active, fully adjudicated DoD Secret Security Clearance required
- Minimum of 4+ years experience developing enterprise applications using Java
- Minimum of 2+ years experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git
- Minimum of 2+ years recent experience developing applications using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java
Demonstrated Advanced experience with:
- Java and Spring-based REST API development
- AngularJS and modern web development frameworks
- Enterprise application development in large-scale federal IT environments
- Agile development methodologies, including SAFe Agile delivery frameworks
- Support high-impact federal technology programs delivering secure digital services
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and Agile development teams
- Work on modern enterprise applications supporting national priorities
