The Business Process Analyst will provide operational support to the Sponsor while utilizing the financial management systems to support Budget and Plans Officers.
- Provide operational support to the Sponsor by tracking and archiving board programmatic and financial requirements.
- Utilize financial management systems, including ALM, COGNOS, and RCAF, to support Budget and Plans Officers in administering organizational finances.
- Monitor anticipated resource requirements against actual expenditures to identify variances and opportunities for optimization.
- Draft financial reports to support both internal and external reporting requirements.
- Document financial relationships and coordination activities with external stakeholders.
- Develop business metrics to support office performance tracking and decision-making.
- Design and develop data visualization solutions and customized dashboards to transform financial and operational data into actionable insights for leadership.
- Perform data clean-up, consolidation, and visualization to improve data quality and usability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements related to financial tracking, reporting, and operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
- BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
- Demonstrated good judgment, initiative and critical thinking ability to take action and execute mission objectives by leveraging networks and drawing on multiple areas of expertise.
- Ability to support multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with strong initiative and follow through.
- Expert-level skills with Microsoft Office products.
- Expert-level experience with MS Excel.
- Knowledge of ALM.
- Experience with COGNOS and RCAFs.
