Onsite Job: Embedded Software Engineer Level 3
Location: Saint Charles, MO | Shift: First (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) | Job Type: Contract
About the Role
Indotronix is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer Level 3 to join our dynamic team supporting Precision Engagement Systems in Saint Charles, MO. As part of our mission-critical projects, you will develop and deliver advanced embedded software solutions for Direct Attack and Cruise Missile Systems, influencing the next generation of military technology. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Operational Flight Program (OFP) software for precision weapons and missile systems
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle within an Agile environment
- Create, maintain, and test real-time embedded applications using Ada, C#, or Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to address technical challenges and deliver robust solutions
- Conduct software testing and support system-level verification to ensure optimal performance
- Analyze problem reports, troubleshoot software defects, and contribute to continuous improvement
- Develop leadership skills and work directly with United States Air Force and Navy customers
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years in real-time embedded software development
- Minimum 3 years applying Object Oriented programming principles
- Minimum 3 years collaborating in a team-based engineering environment
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor of Science in engineering, computer science, or related field
- Familiarity with Ada, Python, or C#
- Experience in Agile software development workflows
- Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems
- Skills in developing and tracing software requirements
- Active U.S. Secret clearance
