Sabre Systems is seeking an experienced Operations Research Analyst to support the NAVAIR Sustainment Group (NSG) at Patuxent River, MD. The selected candidate will provide analytical and decision-support capabilities to the Analytics Division Director and senior Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) leadership. This role focuses on developing and applying data-driven tools, metrics, and analysis to improve naval aviation readiness, optimize sustainment investments, and reduce lifecycle costs for aircraft and weapons systems supporting Sailors and Marines. This position requires the ability to manage complex analytical projects and apply advanced readiness and cost analysis techniques to provide Navy leadership with "best value" alternatives that optimize resources while meeting current and future readiness requirements.

Compensation Statement
At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $131,570.00 - $146,329.00

This position requires the ability to manage complex analytical projects and apply advanced readiness and cost analysis techniques to provide Navy leadership with "best value" alternatives that optimize resources while meeting current and future readiness requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Support development and alignment of data, metrics, and analytical tools for NAE Flag Officer/SES forums and NAE North Star performance metrics, ensuring readiness and sustainment alignment across NAVAIR, Business Units, and PEOs.
- Provide subject matter expertise to the NAE Center for Analytics at NAVAIR Headquarters.
- Develop and improve logistics forecasting methods, analytical tools, databases, and processes supporting sustainment decision-making.
- Analyze logistics and maintenance data to identify opportunities to optimize readiness, logistics effectiveness, and resource utilization across naval aviation systems.
- Support development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) strategies and conduct Logistics Support Assessments (LSAs) to translate logistics data into actionable insights for leadership.
- Develop project approaches, analytical models, and data requirements to support readiness assessments and logistics analysis efforts.
Qualifications
Technical Qualifications
- Expertise in logistics and operational data systems supporting fleet readiness and operating/support cost analysis.
- Proficiency in data extraction, data management, and analytical tool development to transform large datasets into decision-support information.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques related to DoD acquisition and sustainment.
- Understanding of naval aviation weapon systems lifecycle, readiness drivers, and sustainment cost factors.
- Experience with Tableau and/or Qlik data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with Databricks and Advana/Jupyter data environments.
- Experience using AI-enabled analytics tools is a plus.
Education & Experience
- Master's degree in management, Technical, or Scientific discipline from an accredited institution.
- Substitution: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus four (4) additional years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in engineering or operations analysis, including 3 years supporting DoD systems.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI eligible security clearance.
