Job Description

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain will lead the end-to-end Supply Chain function for the T&RF organization, providing strategic and operational leadership across Procurement, Subcontracts, and Material Management. This role is accountable for driving supply chain performance in support of program execution, new business pursuits, and long-term growth objectives. Operating within a matrixed environment, the Senior Manager will serve as the primary Supply Chain leader for T&RF, partnering closely with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to ensure delivery, cost, schedule, quality, and compliance objectives are achieved. The role will focus on developing and executing supply chain strategies, optimizing supplier performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building a high-performing organization.

This leader will drive continuous improvement, supplier development, and category management initiatives to enhance resiliency, reduce cost and lead time, and enable mission success.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain function for T&RF, including Procurement, Subcontracts, and Material Management, to support program execution and business objectives
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that drive performance across cost, schedule, quality, delivery, inventory, and compliance metrics
  • Serve as the primary Supply Chain leader for T&RF, partnering cross-functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Finance
  • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with FAR/DFARS, contractual requirements, and corporate policies
  • Lead complex supplier negotiations and manage strategic supplier relationships to improve performance, reduce risk, and achieve cost savings
  • Drive supplier development, category management, and risk mitigation strategies to enhance supply chain resiliency and lead time performance
  • Support new business pursuits by developing sourcing strategies, cost estimates, and subcontracting approaches
  • Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging data, systems, and best practices to optimize efficiency and performance
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team, including workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Travel: Up to 25% domestic travel
  • U.S. Citizenship required (ability to obtain a security clearance, if applicable


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across the function.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, including procurement, subcontracts, and/or material management
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government / Department of Defense contracts
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience leading teams and managing across a function in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating complex supplier agreements and subcontracts
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain processes
  • Master's Degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in aerospace and defense industry supply chains
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Control Account Management
  • Experience with high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Experience driving organizational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and lead cross-functional teams
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $120,500-$223,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
