We are seeking a Senior Data Storage Administrator/ Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team at TENAX Technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our database systems to ensure high availability and performance. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting our mission-critical projects.
Requirements
- IAT Level III - Candidate MUST currently possess one of the following certifications: CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP
AND
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Seven (7) years' experience in software engineering or IT systems architecture, of which three (3) years must demonstrate experience as a Cloud Engineer/Architect with a proven record of accomplishment of cloud engagements and digital transformations (e.g. working with Azure or AWS, developing technical strategies used for rollout; and building cloud governance plans)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide software engineering services to support network architecture, including data, voice, and video applications.
- Review and analyze application requirements, engineering designs, equipment recommendations, and standards compliance.
- Assist in installation, testing, verification, validation, and documentation review for software deployments.
- Engage in face-to-face interactions with customers and contractors to address information requests.
- Support technical meetings, interchanges, and enterprise working groups to collaborate on software and cloud solutions.
- Attend meetings and working groups with Government and associate contractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Develop Business/Technical Requirements, defining project scope and schedules in collaboration with customers.
- Gather technical requirements for cloud, DevOps, network connectivity, and high-performance computing solutions.
- Identify and assess Department of Navy-authorized cloud offerings such as NR&DE Cloud and DISA Cloud.
- Analyze cloud solutions, ensuring effective use of authorized platforms to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide recommendations to bridge gaps between existing capabilities and departmental requirements.
- Establish Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for short-, mid-, and long-term cloud solutions.
- Support the development of Change Management, provisioning, and management processes for cloud services.
- Define success criteria for cloud deployments, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
- Determine best-fit cloud solutions for existing products, developing a roadmap for multi-year cloud migration.
- Collaborate with network infrastructure teams and RMF accreditation personnel to resolve cloud deployment challenges.
- Ensure alignment of cloud deployments with DoD/DON IT security and infrastructure requirements.
