Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Quality Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Clearfield, Utah.
As quality analyst, we define and monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. We assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability, and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers are in accordance with contractual requirements. In addition, we assess program performance and risks and help to determine resources to ensure contract compliance.

Based on the qualifications below, this role may be filled as a Quality Analyst or a Principal Quality Analyst.
Responsibilities include the following:
Thorough understanding of the Control of Nonconforming Product (Q0-1301) PrOP documents.
Preparation of first article inspection packages for internal approval or presentation to the final customer.
Processing of MRB nonconformances.
Lead data collection, analysis, and generating charts.
Supports the Program, Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams with data analytics for improvement processes.
Manage and coordinate nonconformance containment and corrective action implementation activities.
Support internal audits, process observations, and area assessments.

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Quality Analyst 2
- Must have an active DOD Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience and at least one year of experience with MRB.
Principal Quality Analyst 3
- Must have an active DOD Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in quality and/or mission assurance and at least one year of experience with MRB.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PR or MR Authority
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of Inspection Plans
- Knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action methods
- Knowledge of continuous improvement principles
- Background in Composites
