Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems sector is currently seeking a Supply Chain Compliance Specialist 2/3 to support our growing business in our Rocket Center, West Virginia location.

Rocket Center, WV is located along the North Branch Potomac River in Mineral County, West Virginia and is home to the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL), a government installation operated by Northrop Grumman. Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

• Form partnerships and act as an agent between Supply Chain Logistics and other functional groups/areas to define and develops material strategy.
• Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material, and rough-cut capacity for all products.
• Participates in long-term capacity, and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management. Analyzes and aggregates supply / demand requirements.
• Assesses rough-cut capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirements.
• Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs.
• Interfaces with source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as needed.
• Creates/releases requisitions.
• Manage and maintain magazine foot print/explosive limits, HOP's cycle count requirements, expired materials explosive storage plans.
• POC for energetic material receipts and thermal verification oven.
• Administers and complies with the union contract, trains new employees on established processes.
• Interprets, executes, and makes modifications to practices that affect business compliance with established and/or new policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• For a Level 2: Requires a Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years OR a Masters degree OR 6 years of experience within Supply Chain specific to logistics, inventory, warehousing and compliance.
• For a Level 3: Requires a Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years OR a Masters degree with 3 years of experience OR 9 years of experience within Supply Chain specific to logistics, inventory, warehousing and compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications
• Deltek CostPoint, SAP, Cognos, Crib Master, Dispatch and/or Solumina experience.
• Have a working knowledge of the ABL campus, including operations buildings, magazines, storage compatibility groups and the flow of product between.
• DOT requirements for over the road shipment of energetics, and a general knowledge of pack out configurations & shipment loading of contractual product.

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
