Lockheed Martin Training, Logistics, and Simulation (TLS) is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Engineering Project Manager to join the Strategic Products & Initiatives (SP&I) team. The SP&I team plans and executes Research and Development that leads to new business product offerings.
THE WORK
The Engineering Project Manager (EPM) will be responsible for research and development performance within their assigned Market Segment(s). The individual will be accountable for the overall technical approach, cost, and schedule performance of the research efforts.
The EPM will coordinate with the Chief Engineers on technical approaches, Business Development for strategic input and customer trends, and Functional leadership for staffing considerations.
The EPM has overall research and development execution responsibility to ensure technical objectives and business strategy are met successfully.
Note: This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain a Secret level government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field plus relevant work experience
• 12+ years total experience (or 10+ years with Master's degree), including 4 years demonstrated engineering leadership experience
• Proven leadership experience in engineering assignments and successful proven results in leading and executing on programs
• Demonstrated cost, schedule, and technical accountability
• Experience as a CAM
Desired Skills:
• Experience leading cross functional teams in Agile / DevSecOps environments
• Demonstrated experience managing development activities that include hardware and software integration
• Working knowledge of the Training, Simulation, or Logistics Domain
• Coaching and mentoring of CAMs and team leads
• Experience with software factory toolsets

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
