Description:The Position, Navigation, and Timing Mission Strategies and Advanced Capabilities team is seeking a Future PNT Strategy Lead in Littleton, CO, Sunnyvale, CA & King of Prussia, PA to lead the development of a customer-focused strategy aligned with our technology roadmaps for the Position, Navigation, and Timing Mission Area.

This individual will lead the formulation of LM's multi-domain future PNT architecture, oversee associated technology investments, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to align to a joint vision of the PNT enterprise. The successful candidate will have the ability to organize a cross-functional team around a common objective. The PNT Strategy Lead will work across the LM enterprise from highly specialized and technical professionals to marketing and communications to executives in multiple lines of business and potentially multiple Business Areas. Engagement with key external customers and the ability to build customer relationships are critical to success in this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing long-term campaigns to shape and realize future programs in PNT. The candidate will identify and advocate for the creation of follow-on programs and programs in adjacent markets with resilient architectures and strategies. The candidate will request and manage Marketing Assist (MA), Bid and Proposal (B&P), and Independent Research and Development (IRAD) budgets to ensure investments remain aligned to strategic growth. Additional responsibilities include attending industry events, conferences, summits, and symposiums, identifying and establishing key industry partnerships to maximize new business growth, and collaborating with Engineering Leadership to support strategic growth. The position will also support the overall strategy development within the NSS LOB with the goal of significant LRP growth.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance & may have previous experience supporting NASA, the Intelligence Community (IC), and/or the Space Force, Air Force and other DoD. You will use your expertise to address critical customer needs while leading and developing the strategy and plans for growing business. While not required, a background understanding of PNT principles is desired.

In this dynamic role you will:
• Organize and lead the development of LM's future PNT architecture
• Position LM for success with innovative technologies supporting future PNT missions
• Develop and execute an overall customer focused strategic plan addressing both short & long-term growth
• Identify & establish key industry partnerships to maximize new business growth within this key customer
• Actively participate in capture teams on key business opportunities
• Identify capability gaps and work with engineering leadership to develop solutions
• Lead cross business integration & partnership activities related to PNT
• Shape & win new business through a balanced focus on the customer's mission, best value, and the competitive environment
• Develop & maintain effective customer, teammate, & internal relationships

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with the commercial/civil customers and/or DoD such as but not exclusive to the Intelligence Community, US Space Force, US Air Force, NASA, Department of Transportation, or Department of Commerce
• Experience developing large scale system architectures
• Experience developing strategies
• Experience leading captures over $100M
• Experience with stakeholder management
• Experience as a formal leader of people or as a program manager
• Candidate will hold an engineering, science, or other technical degree
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain & maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Minimum of 10 years of business development experience with government customers
• Experience developing short and long-term strategies
• Experience leading IR&D or CRAD technology developments
• IC and/or DoD experience and ability to expand support across other customers
• Capture Management experience
• Previous experience as a program manager for a new start or new development program
• Previous experience as a systems engineer or systems-of-systems integration
• Familiarity with multiple orbit regimes from LEO to cislunar
• Familiarity with GPS, Galileo, QZSS, or SBAS programs
• Previous experience with offering commercial services or commercial sales
• Active TS/SCI security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $173,900 - $301,415. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
