Overview
i3 is seeking a seasoned and autonomous Senior Security Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting a US Army Project Office. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and trusted professional capable of leading new projects with minimal supervision. This position serves as a primary security point of contact for key international agreements, including the 1979 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the Australia Cooperative Project Office (CPO).
This role demands a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of security disciplines, including foreign disclosure, information security, operations security, and industrial security. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA) Policies.
This position is located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities
Security Program Support
- Manage all foreign partner interactions, including processing and documenting incoming foreign visits and coordinating outgoing visits for government personnel.
- Create and maintain essential tracking systems for internal document releases, visitor logs, and security information files.
- Be responsible for the physical security of the CPO and ensuring adherence to Delegation of Disclosure letters to prevent unauthorized information release.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and correspondence for management.
- Assist in administering the security education and training program and provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
Technical Expertise
- Review, interpret, and provide guidance on security policies, directives, and procedures (such as Army Regulation 380-10) to all government and contractor personnel.
- Attend working groups to provide technical expertise, resolve complex security issues by coordinating with the foreign disclosure office, and negotiate solutions to security challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in security, or a related field preferred. Additional experience may substitute for degree.
- A minimum of 14 years of progressive experience in the security field.
- Travel: Up to 50% OCONUS travel.
- Must have current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
