- Serves as a Senior USACE Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) supporting the USACE Control Systems Cybersecurity Technical Center of Expertise (CSC-MCX) and USACE HNC Project Delivery Teams.
- Works under the general supervision of the Chief, Cybersecurity Branch. Supervisor provides policy guidance and overall objectives through informal conferences and discussions.
- Provides technical cybersecurity Subject Matter Expertise in the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of Controls Systems Cybersecurity to include Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).
- Represent the command or organization at conferences, working group meetings, program status reviews, and design reviews for assigned systems.
- Synthesizes system requirements, identifies and assesses alternative solutions, and prepares recommendations in either document and/or briefing format.

- This position requires a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Required to satisfactorily complete the appropriate training and obtain the required certification/recert for this position as outline in DoD Manual 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program dated 19 Dec 2005.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- In accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and supplemental Army guidance, the employee must obtain and maintain the following requirements for each Cyber work role (except Data, AI, and/or Software Engineering) at the assigned proficiency level.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
