The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$95,000.00 - $245,000.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
- Counsel and guide Draper's Executive Leadership Team in internal communication efforts.
- Develop and implement strategic internal communications that engage, inspire, and connect employees across Draper's 12 campuses.
- Leverage critical thinking to proactively identify internal communication opportunities and build communication roadmaps, including the creation, maintenance, and execution of an annual internal communications plan as well as executive communications messages, and overall team member engagement.
- Ensure all Draper-wide initiatives, change management efforts, and projects are successfully communicated to all relevant audiences.
- Coordinate communications goals, efforts, and strategies with respective communications areas and support departments to ensure consistency of message, timing, and delivery.
- Collaborate with Creative team to lead concept development, write and edit collateral materials for websites, videos or other publications.
- Lead the development and management of scope, schedule, and tasks for projects.
- Continuously monitor, measure, and improve the effectiveness of communication initiatives using metrics and data insights where possible.
- Work collaboratively across all levels of the company, from executive leaders to non-management employees, to gather information, analyze it and create content, articles, stories, talking points, presentations, etc. for relevant communication activities.
- Collaborate with various internal teams, external vendors, and consultants to meet timelines and address any challenges and priorities.
- Develop SharePoint pages on Draper's portal.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to effectively manage projects, lead effective change management efforts, and coordinate with others who are working towards the same goals.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic communications plans and campaigns.
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable outstanding partnerships.
- Engage and motivate teams representing diverse backgrounds and viewpoints.
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills with a willingness to building inter and intra relationships.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) and internal communications platforms such as Staffbase and Slido.
- Knowledge of SharePoint content best practices, experience with survey and data collection/analysis.
- Ability to manage relationships with internal customers, with a focus on customer service.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and knowledge of AP Style.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into layman terms.
Education
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications, or relevant technical training and certifications.
Experience
- Requires 10 years of Communications and Project Management experience.
