This role will support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) National Targeting Center (NTC) Counter Network Division (CND) Enablement Programs section. The Enablement section consists of teams focused on ensuring the division’s success through the effective utilization of foresight, strategy, strategic planning, and technology solutions to provide invaluable resource, program, and project management. This section plays a crucial role in managing various aspects of the division’s daily operations, from handling incoming taskings to supporting strategic initiatives, internal communication, reporting, and data collection. Strategic Initiatives also dedicates resources to recruitment, budget management, operational coordination, and employee recognition. The team’s diverse portfolio directly contributes to the overall efficiency and success of the division.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Managing, routing, tracking, and responding to formal taskings to include executive correspondence, action items, and/or suspense-driven assignments
-Assisting division staff with writing policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), executive summaries, briefing materials and memorandums to support the mission of the division.
-Assisting with developing or maintaining division-wide metrics to measure progress, update reports, or respond to inquiries related to progress, milestones, or accomplishments.
-Assisting with executive-level administrative support functions
-Updating/editing/creating routine or ad-hoc reports or organizational assessments
-Managing multiple priorities and suspense dates in a high-tempo environment




Education and Years of Experience Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree required. Advanced education reduces the number of years of experience required


Position Requirements:

-Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
-Strong professional writing abilities with experience editing or contributing to policy documents, SOPs, and strategic communications
-Ability to translate complex administrative or operational information into clear, strategic communications
-Familiarity with federal task management processes such as coordinating responses, maintaining accountability logs, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
-Demonstrated experience working within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including:
-PowerApps (development and maintenance)
-Power Automate (workflow creation)
-Sharepoint (list management and document tracking)
-Power BI or dashboard creation tools
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
-Data tracking and metric reporting
-Pivot tables, formulas, and trend analysis
-Dashboard creation and visualization
-Experience developing and maintaining data tracking systems to support leadership decision-making
-Experience supporting performance metric tracking, program reporting, and organizational assessments
-Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight, maintain confidentiality and professionalism, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
-Proven ability to work respectfully, collaboratively, and collegially with co-workers, supervisors, and clients


Security Requirements:

U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain TS-SCI
