Summary

Summary

The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting data stored in organization information systems based on business needs. Must be a US Citizen with the ability obtain/maintain a DHS clearance.

Essential Functions
  • Performs all aspects of data analysis and management.
  • Gathers, analyzes, evaluates, and interprets data stored in organization information systems based on business need.
  • Interprets data and results and assesses and ensures data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provides subject matter expertise regarding t he data subject.
  • Writes and compiles reports and other documentation.
  • Ensures data is processed and stored in accordance with agency regulations and standards.
  • Ability to create interactive dashboards using Power BI
  • Create visualizations per Stakeholder requirements
  • May be requested and required to participate in Proposal Support functions due to expertise
  • Follow management system policies, procedures, and work instructions as part of daily job duties.
  • Protect company and customer information by adhering to security and quality requirements.
  • Promptly report incidents, nonconformities, or risks to the appropriate authority.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
  • Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.

No travel required for this position.

Experience
  • Must possess four or more years of data analysis experience
  • 2-3 years' Power BI dashboard development


Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology discipline or related field or equivalent work experience directly within functional area


Security Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability obtain/maintain a DHS clearance.
