Exercise Planner
The Opportunity:

As an exercise planner on our team, you'll develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for clients, creating rich content using Micro sof t Office Suite and modeling and simulation tools to help you tell a realistic story. You'll listen to client challenges and identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored and provide a space for recommendations that will make lasting, real-world impact.
As a leader in the company's strategic exercises and wargaming practice, you'll have the chance to work cross-functionally with senior military leaders, subject matter experts, and partners on projects that are making an impact on critical missions. You'll share your expertise and collaborate with the industry's best trainers and coaches through our custom "Train the Trainer" programs like wargame and exercise design and Joint or Combined operations planning.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience using frameworks such as the Joint Event Life Cycle ( JELC ) , for military exercise planning
- Knowledge of DoD or NATO exercise planning processes and met hodologies
- Ability to develop exercise materials, including scenarios, objectives, and master scenario events lists ( MSELs )
- TS / SCI clearance
- Asso cia te's degree and 7+ years of experience with military exercise planning, Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with military exercise planning, or 11+ years of experience with military exercise planning in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience planning or participating in nuclear surety exercises, NATO exercises, or exercises for a major joint command
- Knowledge of Nuclear Command and Control ( NC2 ) procedures or NATO crisis response planning
- Ability to facilitate exercise planning meetings and lead discussions with senior military and civilian personnel
- Master's degree
- Completion of the Joint Professional Military Education ( JPME ) I or II Course
