Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience leading complex domain research and data science or analytics projects, including in the defense, health, or manpower fields
- Experience with programming in Python and R, including coding practices, advanced data structures and comprehension techniques, complex data manipulation, database integration, and use of scientific or ML ecosystems such as pandas or R tidyverse
- Knowledge of Department of War ( DoW ) data providers, data systems, and key datasets, including Defense Health Agency ( DHA ) , Defense Manpower Data Center ( DMDC ) , and Medical Data Repository ( MDR )
- Ability to independently explore and operationalize data sources using proven scientific processes and met hods, employing advances modeling techniques and technologies
- Ability to mentor junior scientists or analysts and guide analytic or IT strategy across multiple projects and stakeholder groups
- Secret clearance
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or Psychology
Nice If You Have:
- Experience using Palantir Vantage or similar Foundry-based solutions
- Knowledge of DoW defense mission area domains and military operations
- Ability to expertly coordinate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, or multi-disciplinary stakeholder groups
