As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-tech aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to alarms and/or unusual activity while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control requirements at an aerospace and defense location, including visitor and delivery processing.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, and document observations, incidents, and shift activity in written logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by post orders, including evacuations, shelter-in-place actions, and traffic control for arriving personnel and/or responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
