As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to access control and alarm activity. This post requires an active Armed Guard Card and carries a high standard of professionalism, clear communication, and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Carry and maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal guidelines, and use professional judgment to help to deter threats.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of office, data, and operations areas, including interior and exterior perimeter checks, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and visitor logs, and complete timely documentation of patrols, incidents, and unusual observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
