Job Summary:

Primarily supports the Reliance Test and Technology , LLC EOMS Human Resources functions . Works under lim i ted supervision , using significant i ndependent judgment and reporting to the Human Resources Directo r. Responsible for managing , tra i ning and guiding the Human Resources staff in the EOMS HR Office .

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversees recruiting , h i ring , tra i ning , labor relations , performance management and benefits administration functions .
  • Assists Human Resources Director in developing , implementing , and maintaining Human Resources pol i cies and forms ; recommends policy changes .
  • Updates and advises senior management on employee relations i ssues .
  • Keeps Human Resource EOMS professionals and leadership team , informed of relevant updates in laws , regulations and company policy.
  • Directs and trains other Human Resources professionals on all human resources matters including employee relations , benefits , personnel law , union grievances , EEO and compensation issues .
  • Conducts internal investigations , documents findings and recommends appropriate action to
  • May assist with the review , post and distribution of 401Kand other benefit program Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and required notices to sites ,
  • May assist with the reconciliation and transmission of 401(k) financial and census data to vendor and provides input for 401(k) nondiscrimination testing.
  • Works with the 401(k) Plan Administrator and may assist as a liaison with 401(k) Plan
  • Works in cooperation with Human Resources Director to ensure regulatory compliance to include Affirmative Action Plans , EEO-1 reporting, Vets 4212 reporting , OSHA , and 1094/1095 reporting to include maintenance of all required records .
  • Works closely with the Benefits Administrator on Workers Compensation and Leaves of Absence programs including participation in annual audits.
  • Part i cipates in new contract phase-ins and contract phase-outs .
  • Conducts Human Resources training and works with the EOMS Training Administrator on contract required training , superv i sor training et al.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings , union negotiat i ons and seminars as appropriate .
  • Updates and maintains all position descriptions .


Qualifications

Educational/Training Requirements:
  • Bachelor ' s degree in human resources , business administration , management or other similar discipline and a minimum of six (6) years of related experience .
  • May substitute degree with equivalent combination of experience and education .

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Government contracts experience
  • Professional or Senior Professiona l in Human Resources (PHR or SPHR) certification

Work Environment:
  • Duties are normally performed in an office environment with some duties performed outside in the field.

Physical Demands:
  • Occasional travel and extended work hours may be required .
  • Must be able to lift up to 1O lbs .
  • Extensive compute r data entry .
