We are seeking a strong Specialist, Integration/Test Engineering to support the (U.S. Space Force Customer) for ( Ground Management and Integration Project). This is an exciting new initiative where the (U.S. Space Force Customer) is mirroring Silicon Valley processes and capabilities to quickly deploy new capabilities. Candidates must be passionate, energized, and excited to work on modern architectures and solve challenging problems for our clients.
Ground Management and Integration (GMI) is a U.S. Space Force program supporting the Resilient MEO Missile Warning and Tracking (RMMWT) mission by providing the ground system architecture, integration, and management capabilities necessary to operate a distributed, resilient space sensing enterprise. The program focuses on the development and sustainment of software-intensive ground capabilities, platform integration, and cross-domain interoperability to enable command, control, mission management, and data integration across current and future space assets. GMI emphasizes modular, scalable, and platform-aligned solutions to support incremental capability delivery and long-term mission resilience.

Position Description (what you will do)
- Software tester focused on supporting all MSOC SW development unit to system level testing done throughout the sprint cycles of the development PoP meet the SOW Appendix A Agile Software Development Definitions of Done. This tester will be following the software engineering team agile sprint and release cadence.
- Responsible for identifying and creating automated testing where applicable.
- Will assist creation of the test model and simulation capabilities by ensuring MSOC functionality is incorporated into test harnesses for each capability to verify test interfaces and functionality for standard and edge testing.
- Attend internal and cross team meetings and working groups.
- Review all test team ADRL documents
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related STEM field
- 4+ years of experience in software test and integration on DoD or IC software programs
- Hands-on experience supporting agile development teams through sprint and release cycles
- Experience testing software from unit level through full system integration
Software Test & Integration
- Support all MSOC software test activities across sprint cycles in line with Agile Definitions of Done in SOW Appendix A
- Execute unit, integration, and system-level testing as part of the development cadence
- Create and maintain automated tests where practical to improve coverage and repeatability
- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and prevent regressions
- Support test planning and execution for both standard use cases and edge conditions
Test Models, Simulation & Test Harnesses
- Assist in building and improving test models and simulation tools
- Ensure MSOC functions are represented in test harnesses for each capability
- Verify test interfaces, data flows, and functional behavior through controlled test scenarios
- Help expand test coverage as new features and interfaces are added
Collaboration & Documentation
- Attend internal team meetings, cross-team syncs, and working groups
- Coordinate with software, systems, and integration teams to align test scope and priorities
- Review all test team ADRL deliverables for accuracy and completeness
- Provide clear defect reports with steps to reproduce, logs, and impact details
Travel: Occasional travel (up to 10%) to support program reviews, integration activities, and coordination meetings at prime contractor or government facilities.
(Nice-to-haves) Credentials & Clearance
- Master's degree in a technical field
- Experience with automated test frameworks and CI pipeline test integration
- Familiarity with simulation tools and hardware-in-the-loop test setups
- Experience delivering test artifacts and results in support of government reviews
- Active DoD Top Secret or SCI eligibility preferred
Prime-Sub Relationship Experience
- Prior experience supporting DoD programs as a subcontractor
- Demonstrated ability to operate within prime contractor engineering processes, tools, and configuration management frameworks
- Experience delivering contractual artifacts to the prime in support of government reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
